Important Information

Weather

The trail will remain open with the lights on when it is raining unless the conditions become dangerous (e.g. lightning in the area, ice, flooding).

Some services may be limited in the event of heavy rain (e.g. concessions, Santa, princesses, entertainment).

The train is not able to run in any type of rain.

Onsite Parking

There is onsite parking for approximately 150 cars. The available area is outlined by Christmas lights. On Dec 1,2,8,9,15-23 the onsite parking is VERY CONGESTED & VERY LIMITED. It is highly recommended that you use one of the offsite parking options listed below.

Offsite Parking

On heavy attendance nights (generally Fridays, Saturdays and the week before Christmas) additional parking is available at Wimberley HS. The walk from the HS is well lit, marked, and safe. It may add 95-100 yds to your walk to our grounds entrance. On a few nights of our season there are basketball games at the HS, which may congest the HS lot. Just past the HS on Carney Lane, on the left, is the entrance to the JHS and stadium, where ample parking is available. The walk from this area would be approximate 200 yds. max.

Handicapped Parking

Handicapped parking (approx 20 cars) is available at the Trail entrance. When you turn off of FM2325, follow the yellow Handicapped Parking signs past our general parking and around to the handicapped zone. We have several golf carts which we use to provide transportation to the yule log for the handicapped.

Alcohol, Dogs, and Firearms

Alcohol, pets, and firearms are NOT allowed on the EmilyAnn grounds. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. Service animals are permitted.

Payment Types Accepted

Admission is free but donations are greatly appreciated! We accept cash, check and credit card donations. If you would like to use a credit card to make a donation, please come to the front store tent. Cash is accepted at all locations/activities (train, concessions and stores). Credit cards are accepted at concessions and the stores. If you need to purchase train tickets with a credit card, please come to the store tent at the front entrance.

Concessions Available

Come have dinner at the Trail! Our concession stand offers many options including: hot dogs (plain, chili/cheese), frito pie, nachos, bottled water, canned soft drinks, coffee, smores, marshmallows, hot cocoa, and more!

Entrance Store Tent

Light your way through the Trail of Lights!! Our entrance store offers a great selection of light-up accessories and toys for all ages to help you look as festive as the exhibits! Prices range from $2-$10.

Rotary Club Book Tent

Children may stop by the Rotary Club exhibit to choose a free book and are encouraged to bring gently-used books from home to share with others.

Small Bus Parking (1-20 passengers)

We have the parking capability to handle small buses either onsite or at the HS. If passengers must be dropped off very near to the Trail entrance, you will follow the Handicapped signs. As you approach the entrance area, a Theatre representative will meet you and give final directions for drop-off and parking of your bus. Norm Rolling will normally be on site to direct you. Call him at 512-289-4674, when you are nearing Wimberley, so we can be ready to assist you.

Large Bus Parking (over 20 passengers)

Onsite parking for large buses is not feasible on weekends or from Dec 16-23. These nights the onsite parking is very congested. Large buses visiting on weekends or from Dec 16-23 will need to park at Wimberley High School and then have passengers walk to the Trail of Lights via the ADA compliant and lighted walkway. Large buses visiting on other nights can call us prior to arriving so we can let you know if onsite parking is available that night and where to unload passengers.
